Cairns NYE Fun Run

The Cairns Regional Council NYE Resolution Fun Run is a 4km fun run along the northern end of the esplanade and it’s FREE to register. View the map of the course.

Due to COVID restrictions, no registrations will be accepted on the day.

Check-in (on the day): 4:00pm Run commences at 5:00pm

Register with your family and friends and do something that is fun and challenging. What a better way to end the year with a Fun Run with your friends, teammates, family members and furry friends!

This is more than just a “fun run” it is a celebration and a healthy way to ring in the new year!

All ages welcome and the first 300 runners over the finish line will receive a delicious cupcake for their efforts!

To honour the superheroes in our community such as frontline workers, medical staff, firefighters, police, teachers etc, this year’s theme is SUPERHEROES!

Not all heroes wear capes but make sure to dress up as your favourite superhero!
