For younger kids the most popular playgrounds in Cairns are Muddys and the Pirateship playground – both located on the Northern Cairns Esplanade. The Nature playground at Centenary Lakes and the fenced playground at Edmonton Sugarworld Gardens are also well worth checking out too.
For older children Muddys playground is also good, but we recommend checking out the Fig Tree playground close to the CBD, Goomboola Park, Bluewater Playground in Trinity Beach, and the Yorkeys Knob Adventure playground as other good choices if you have transport.
