Cairns summers can get very hot and sticky! Luckey we have We have numerous pools, creeks and lakes to keep us cool!
What about the beach you ask? While we do have some amazing beaches here, unfortunaly at this time of year, November to April it is also stinger season. Many locals refuse to swim at the beach because of this (and the crocs), but if you stay in the stinger nets and follow the lifesavers advise then it is generally safe to do so.
