Here are some of the best things to do in Cairns and FNQ on the cheap, or that offer great value for local and visiting families.

We’ve tried to include outdoor activities here for under $25 a child or $100 a family.

Mini Golf in Cairns

Putt Putt Island - Sugarworld Edmonton

Closed for Winter: Explore the lush and tropical wonderland of Putt-Putt Islands 9-hole mini golf. Around $10 per person or $32 for a family for just the golf. Can be combined with Splash Town and Super Slides water park

Cairns Golf Centre - Yorkeys Knob

Whether it’s your first time in the saddle or if you’ve been trotting since you were knee-high, anyone (provided you’re over the age of six) can join a 30 minute guided trail ride adventure through the rolling hills and rainforest dotted across the property.
