The Sugarworld Playground and Parklands in Edmonton Cairns, is a beautiful spot with magnificent surrounds, botanic gardens and the odd historic artefact.
There is a fully fenced all abilities enclosed playground, walking tracks, bbqs, tables, toilets and even the odd peacock roaming around.
Next door to the gardens is the Sugarworld Adventure Park with water slides and mini Golf to easily make a day of it here in South Cairns.
Parents will love this fully fenced playground that is deal for toddlers and younger kids. There’s heaps to do and kids can explore and play independently. There are also bench seats and tables within the play area. Toilet are close by.
There are BBQ facilities just outside the playground area.
The Sugarworld Gardens are beautiful and ideal for walking, strollers, wheelchairs, biking or scootering with many wide paths to wonder your way around. Meander among the trees, the orchid and discover a few historic artefacts along the way, going back to the early history of sugar cane farming here.
You’re likely to come across the odd peacock here too, which is always a delight for the kids.
