Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime – Cairns Libraries
Baby Rhyme Time and Story Time are recurring events held at various Cairns Libraries including City, Stratford, Smithfield, Manunda and Earlville Libraries.
Baby Rhyme Time is ideal for babies aged two years and younger and their parents/carers. Join us as we sing songs and action rhymes, clap, move and explore books together to nurture your baby’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills.
Storytime is designed for pre-school aged children to encourage and nurture their love of books, and develop early literacy and social skills, while modelling storytelling techniques for parents/carers. Sessions are often themed and can involve several story readings, songs, rhymes and movement. Storytime is ideal for pre-school aged children (3-5 years) and their parents/carers.
Fenced Playgrounds in and around Cairns
The following playgrounds have a fenced toddler area inside them, making it so much easier for busy Mums and Dad’s to juggle more than one child at a time, or to simply be able to relax while your toddler can play in safe surrounds.
